I can't recommend Maryam enough. Her facials are so relaxing and always customized to your skin. The steamer and her face and shoulder massage are amazing, I literally fall asleep every time. She really makes sure you're comfortable and takes her time.
Her space is super clean and cozy, and she's great about recommending products that actually help. I've seen real improvement in my skin, and I was so happy with the results that I even got my mom going to her too. I'll definitely keep coming back.

The team at Lyra is top notch. Michelle is an amazing hair stylist that specializes in curly hair and color. She always does an amazing job. I even booked her for my wedding hair and makeup. She definitely listens and gives great recommendations to help elevate my do for the seasons.

I was very satisfied with my experience at Lyra Salon. It's close to a lot of parking and was easy to get to. The salon was beautiful and welcoming. A comfortable experience in a chic setting. A lot of attention was paid to even the smallest details in the interior design. And my haircut? Flawless. I highly recommend Michelle; I've been going to her for about 10 years and I can't say enough good things. She is always pushing herself to learn new techniques and improving her craft. She is talented, efficient, kind, and a great communicator.

Lyra Salon provides a top-notch downtown salon experience. Stephanie, who has been my stylist for six years is trained to cut curly hair. She gives me a beautiful cut and has also given me great tips on how to handle and wear my hair. I'm excited to be in her new location!

The combination of the Deva cut and her styling tips have helped me lean into my natural curl and I love the results! Her expertise shines through not only in her cut/styling technique, but also in her advice for how to manage my hair at home through different conditions and situations. I followed Stephanie to Lyra and have had a great experience there - friendly staff, central location, easy parking in the Ann St garage. Prices are on the higher side for Ann Arbor, but in my opinion, it’s worth it to feel happy and comfortable with my hair day in and day out. Highly recommend.

lyra salon is a gorgeous open space filled with natural light that makes for happy people and plants! i love the natural brick, the full length mirrors, and the simplicity of the aesthetic. the chairs are so cozy and the chairs for washing have foot recliners. i felt so pampered in my experience here. if you need tea and cookies or a glass of water, lyra salon has your back. all the stylists seem so cheerful and shelby at the front desk is always sweet as pie! i was astonished to see all the gorgeous cuts and styles happening as i sat under the dryer. i felt seriously accomplished in life, like dang—i am literally getting my hair cut at the best salon in town! i am SO happy my brilliant and wonderfully talented haircare specialist moved to this amazing new salon! what an upgrade for her! now, let me tell you about my queen, KYLAH.
kylah always goes above and beyond in caring for my hair! she pays incredible attention to detail and always makes sure i leave happy. i have wavy hair and it makes cutting my bangs very tricky, but kylah has it down to a science. strangers are always complimenting my haircuts; i happily refer them to kylah and she steals their hearts along with their split ends.
last summer i was toying with the idea of moving out of state and being away from kylah was such a horrible thought that gave me so much anxiety. of course, she assured me she would help me find someone to keep up on my bangs, but no one could ever replace her. if i moved, i would have just grown them out and comeback for quarterly haircuts. my hair could never be without her. in addition to being incredibly talented, kylah is a beautiful human being; she is so cool and down to earth and always makes me feel safe and at home in her chair. i love kylah and i would recommend her services to anyone (and i do every chance i get)! her work speaks for itself. so grateful for kylah and the sweet love she gives my hair.
